At CERI we feel that the Yellowstone to Yukon region and the Pacific Northwest Coast are the two areas for highest conservation priority in North America at this time; in terms of the possibility of designing reserves large enough to maintain large carnivores and exceptional biodiversity, and in terms of the magnitude and immediacy of the threats that these landscapes are facing. We still have time to make a difference in these areas
