The CCLC's book in progress, Shaping the Future:
Conservation Planning from the Bottom-up is beginning to take shape
as authors submit their chapters for review. This book, set to be
published in 2011 by ESRI Press, will address fifteen critical
issues in conservation planning. It
is intended to offer guidance to any scientist, manager, or planner
interested in developing a conservation plan for any area in the world,
from the ground up, using the best available data, hardware, and
software. It will also be useful for the incorporation of newer and
more effective techniques into existing conservation plans.
Current authors will meet at a workshop in June
2010
